*Shall cover advance towards expenses incurred on purchase of books, stationery, toiletries, outings, special medical help etc. A minimum balance of Rs. 2000/$100 must be maintained.
**Boarder would need to deposit post dated cheques payable at par for the Quarterly fee dated  1st July, 1st October & 1st January at the time of admission.

Admissions: Admission to Delhi Public School YNR is open to all who fulfil the entry requirements, followed by entrance tests and subsequent interview. Normally, admissions are open for Play Group and Nursery class each year, while admission to other classes depend on vacancies. Admission is purely based on the performance in the entrance test and interview. Since there are only a few vacancies for higher classes, admissions will be on First come first served basis. Admission is granted on the basis of successful clearance of entrance test and subsequent interview of student, accompanied by parents.

ENTRANCE DETAILS:
An admission to Play Group, Nursery and Prep is allotted on the basis of Interaction of the child and the parents. Written entrance test is held in the following subjects viz. English, Hindi and Mathematics for Class I to V. Class VI upwards will have a paper in Science in addition to English and Mathematics, all entrance papers are for duration of 30 minutes each i.e. 3 hours for three subjects.

Dormitory:
DPS Residency "A HOME AWAY FROM HOME". DPS Residency, situated at the second floor in the campus makes the residents feel at home. All the amenities have been provided to them after taking into consideration even their minutest needs. Fully Air Conditioned Rooms with individual bed, cupboard, table, chair are provided
  • All the hostellers are under the strict guidance of Teachers and PETs all the 24 hours.
  • R.O. are installed so as to follow the safe drinking measures.
  • On the off days, they attend the computer classes and are also taken for outings.
  • We have an entertainment room with Dish TV package. Every month, our hostellers watch two latest movies.
  • A Store room is there to make the hostellers keep their trunks.
A resident Hostel Incharge looks after the boarders hygiene, clothing and other requirements. The resident teachers also interact with the Hostellers at regular intervals and observe their participation in various activities of the school and take note of their academic progress. Students are also associated with the running of the house by their appointments as House Captains and Prefects.

Students are encouraged to indulge in healthy competition, take pride in doing their own work and grow into mature, independent and self confident individuals. They follow a scheduled routine, beginning with PT, followed by normal school, evening games and supervised preps/study hours. Students take a daily bath after games for which hot water is provided during the cold weather.
